NRG bathroom mirror heater work by having a electric heating pad behind the mirrors, the pad is just one millimeter thick and works on standard 240 volt power. It is wired to the light switch – simply turn on your illuminated bathroom light and the mirror is warmed by the heater pad. The warmth means that condensation and steam cannot form on the illuminated mirror. The pads can be used on any size illuminated mirror.

The standard size for a mirror heating pad is 500mm x 600mm. If you have a large illuminated mirror, there is no need to resign yourself to having just one clear patch – you can use multiple pads to ensure that the whole mirror remains fog free. Be aware, however, that if your existing mirror was installed using an adhesive like liquid nails rather than screws, you cannot retrofit the heater pad. You will have to install a new illuminated mirror.
